The 2017-2018 Scholarship Recipients of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Greater Philadelphia Professionals Chapter STEM Futures Scholars are:
KENDALL PILAR ROSEBORO
My name is Kendall Pilar Roseboro and I will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the Fall of 2018, where I will be a pre-med student majoring in Biology. Ultimately, I would like to serve underfunded and underserved populations to ensure quality healthcare for everyone. With that in mind, it is my intention to pursue a medical degree and to engage in a residency specializing in pediatrics.
Naomi Lawson is a sophomore at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Chemistry with Teaching, as part of the TU Teach program. Chemistry has long been an interest of hers, as has working with children. With her degree, she will be able to further her goals within the classroom, by inspiring the next generation of high school students to be passionate about the life changing applications of chemistry."
My name is Terell Dale and I attend Swarthmore College, currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. I choose engineering and mathematics because I have always excelled in mathematics and I would like to use that skill to face many of the technical problems created by the digital revolution. After college, I would like to attend graduate school and pursue a career in the study of signal processing and the design of signal processing signals, with preference to renewable energy production systems.
